Micki asked her: "You gonna wake up soon, sweetie?” She then gives the pup a little belly rub and neck massage.
But then she breaks the bad news: "You have to go to the vet soon, sweetie.”
Now if Micki thought LuLu was challenging to get up before, it was going to be next to impossible to bring her back to life now. LuLu knew what she was in store for, and even her mom’s gentle persistence could get her to budge. And when her mom pulls back the covers, you can almost tell that rigor mortis had set in. Yup, LuLu was now super-duper dead!
But Micki had a few tricks up her sleeve:
"Oh well,” Micki says. "Dead puppies don’t get treats.”
Like magic, that seemed to do the trick!
