Girl, Can’t Talk And Walk, Warns Family Of Potential Danger By…
This story tells us that anyone can be a hero even if they are disabled. And that what Lexie Comeau-Drisdelle, a disabled girl who can’t talk or walk, shows us by saving her baby brother from drowning.
This hero girl was ready to celebrate her 9th birthday on May 5, with friends and family, including Leeland, her one-year-old brother, who decided to jump into the pool! But, Lexie saw what was about to happen, as always keeps her eyes on her little brother, and she knew that she had to something to alert her family. She made a loud scream, the loudest that she can. Thankfully, all the family heard that scream and started running to know what was happening, when they saw Lexie, she was pointing on the pool.
Thankfully, they were able to take the boy from the pool. And they took him inside they were able to get him in stable condition after following some instructions from an emergency hotline. They then took him to the nearest hospital. The city’s police department honored Lexie, who was also recognized as a hero for her response by the Halifax Regional Council on Wednesday.
