Right, an additional story about people taking advantage of the welfare system. It comes to us from Pittsburgh, and the low-life deceiving the system is Sabrina Strothers, 23. In welfare benefits for 3 kids that don’t even exist, she has collected around $130,000!
She claims to have given birth to triplets named Tyreik, Tomalyia, and Thomas Wilson in 2008. But the authorities discovered that the social security numbers of the triplets belong to persons born in 1960, 1945, and 1887!
The state’s (OIG) has a "Report Fraud” link on their website that was used by Strothers’s cousin. So Strothers’ family turned her in!
She has been charged with 2 counts of making false statements, 2 counts of fraud, and one count of theft by cheating in a welfare investigation. The Office of Inspector General had contacted and she claimed that her kids lived in Georgia with their dad, but was not able to give the address or name of the man.
